Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in all bedrooms and public areas within the hotel.
To Connect: WiFi
Simply select the ‘Guest Login’ on your device and fill in the information requested. Once completed you will see a screen which confirms you are connected.
Room Service
Please contact the reception by dialling ‘0’ from your room. Our main menu is available to be served to your room during our service times of 12pm – 9.30pm (9pm Sundays). A selection of cold sandwiches is available at all other times. After finishing your meal, please call Reception and your tray will be collected from outside your room.
Please note an additional tray charge of £3 per order will apply on top of the price of the food ordered
Laundry & Dry Cleaning
Please place items in the laundry bag provided and complete the docket. Items will be returned by 6pm the same day provided they are left with Reception prior to 9am. Service provided Monday to Friday only.

Accounts
Your account is readily available upon request at Reception. The following methods of payment are accepted: cash, personal cheque (with guaranteed card), Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept contactless payment, including G Pay & ApplePay.
Alarm Calls
Please contact Reception, by dialling ‘0’, who will arrange an alarm call for you.
Assistance (24-hr Reception)
Reception is staffed 24 hours. From 11pm to 7am the Night Porter will cover Reception to deal with any enquiries. Should you require assistance please dial ‘0’.
Bar
DAWSON’S BAR & SNUG, located on the ground floor at the front of the hotel, provides a wide variety of beverages and speciality drinks including craft beers, cocktails, whisky and gin. We respectfully suggest that children vacate the bar after 9pm.
Breakfast
For residents on a Bed and Breakfast tariff, breakfast is served in Shakespeare’s Room between 7:30am and 10am, Monday to Friday and 8am – 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday. Click here to view our menus.
Car Parking
We have two car parks; 10 spaces to the front, directly opposite the hotel; a further 20 spaces to the rear, accessed via an archway in the main building. It can be found by using the postcode LL32 8DB.
Checkout
Checkout time is 11am. A late checkout is available by prior arrangement by contacting our reception team.
Church Services
Please contact Reception who will advise you on services and locations for religious worship.
Cinema
Our nearest multiplex cinema is Cineworld, just over a mile from the hotel with parking on site. The postcode is LL31 9XX.
Conference Facilities
Our LAVIN ROOM offers events and conference facilities up to 18 people. For larger parties please enquire with the manager on duty for details of our conferencing facilities.
Currency Conversion
The nearest bureau de change is at the Post Office, which is in Spar, just in the middle of the high street.
Dietary Requirements
If you have any special requirements, please contact the manager on duty who will be happy to assist.

If you require directions our reception team are happy to provide printed route maps and navigation on request.
Disabled Facilities
Our disabled toilet is located on the ground floor past reception.
Doctor, Dentist and Chemist
Should you require medical assistance, please inform Reception or call the local Doctors’ Surgery Helpline on 01492 593385. The nearest minor injury unit is at Llandudno, just 15 minutes away. The nearest chemists can be found on the High Street. For more information, please dial ‘0’ to speak to Reception.
Emergency Services
Dial ‘999’ for the police, fire brigade or an ambulance. Please also call Reception on ‘0’ to report the incident and for further assistance
Fire Procedures
It is imperative that guests read the Fire Notice on the back of the bedroom door and familiarise themselves with the fire evacuation procedure and fire exits.
Flowers
If you wish to send flowers or have them delivered to your room, we would be happy to arrange this for you with our local florist. Please contact Reception by dialling ‘0’ with your requirements and they will do their best to accommodate you.
Heating and Cooling
The heating in the room may be adjusted using the thermostat dial on the side of the radiator during the winter months. A limited number of fans are also available – please speak to Reception to check availability.
Room Keys
For your personal security, we insist that guests produce room keys when signing accounts in any of the Hotel’s facilities.
Luggage Assistance
Please ask Reception for help with luggage or luggage storage at any time, 24-hours a day. Luggage may be stored in the hotel, without charge, for up to six hours after vacating your room.
Maintenance
Should you find anything not in working order, please report it to Reception and we will endeavour to repair it as quickly as possible.
Newspaper
Please order with Reception by 10pm for delivery to your room the next morning.
Night Porter
Please dial ‘0’ for the Night Porter who is on duty from 11pm until 7am daily.
No Smoking
Please be aware that the whole hotel, including all bedrooms, is non-smoking. The courtyard has designated areas for smoking. If guests are found to have smoked inside bedrooms, a minimum charge of £150.00 will be made to cover further cleaning and freshening of the room. Each room is fitted with a smoke detector which is very sensitive and will evacuate the whole hotel if triggered. Activation will incur further charges to the guest’s account.
Pets
Dogs are allowed in our bedrooms (terms apply) and in all other public areas except Shakespeare’s restaurant. Breakfast can be served to guests staying with dogs in the bar or snug on request.
Postage
Postage to most destinations can be arranged via Reception. All post is sent daily.
Restaurant
There are two dining areas on the ground floor of the hotel, with the same menu available in each between 12pm and 9.00m. Diners can enjoy either the more formal setting of Shakespeare’s Room or the relaxed atmosphere of Dawson’s Bar & Snug. Booking is highly recommended. A copy of our menu is available here.
Security
Please ensure that your bedroom windows and doors are closed when you leave the room. We would like to draw your attention to the Hotel Proprietors Act displayed in the reception area and regret to inform you that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to any guest’s property not handed in for safekeeping.
